Proud of me

November 4, 2010

Today I received my copy of the catalogue 20-Forme. It’ s a catalogue about works of a group of ceramic of the Community of Italians “Giuseppe Tartini” from Piran. The community prepared this catalogue for 20 years of work of this group. I have to say also that we are all amateurs with a passion for ceramic, but I am proud of all of our works.

I am part of this group from 2006 and they included 3 of my works I did in those years (3 double pages!).

“Brocca”, terracotta, ossidie cristallina lucida, 2008

“Primo piatto”, maiolica 2006

“Figura”, terracotta, 2009

(unfinished)

Artist home / Margaret O’Rorke

“my kind of home”

Ceramist Margaret O Rorke lives and works in her fifteenth century hall house in Oxfordshire. The house is furnished with plain wooden doors, simple oak furniture and graphic artworks – all of which provide a contrast to Margaret’s dazzling, light-emitting porcelain creations.
